Dr. Sears’ L.E.A.N. workshops can provide that solution for you.
Dr. William Sears, along with exercise physiologist Sean Foy, have created a series of interactive, clinically proven workshops to help families embrace four pillars of health: Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude, and Nutrition. Dr. Sears’ L.E.A.N. workshops provide simple, easy-to-implement tools for making nutrition education fun and engaging. This proven approach provides participants with all the tools necessary for sustaining health and wellness. In addition, the readily-available materials are simple and easy for participants to understand, from expectant and nursing moms, to parents and their children.

Dr. Sears’ L.E.A.N. Workshops
Each of the following practical, affordable Dr. Sears’ L.E.A.N. workshops includes simple, easy-to-implement tools that make nutrition education fun, interactive, and engaging:
Dr. Sears’ L.E.A.N. Expectations is a series of three different classes that teach pregnant women how to best care for themselves and their babies, all the way from pre-pregnancy through the third trimester. Topics include preparing for pregnancy, eating well, prenatal exercise, and self-care–both during pregnancy and postpartum.
Dr. Sears’ L.E.A.N. Start is a series of six one-hour nutrition education classes for parents of children ages 3-12. Each class can be taught to a group of parents or adapted to suit the needs of parents and their children. Each class also includes fun, interactive activities, lots of healthy snacks, and engaging DVD segments. Participants also receive an 80-page Parents’ and Caregivers’ Guide, along with an activity book for their children.
Dr. Sears’ L.E.A.N. Essentials is a one-time, two-hour class that introduces the basic concepts covered in Dr. Sears’ L.E.A.N. Start. This option is ideal for introducing wellness to large groups and parents who desire more information before committing to a six-week workshop series.
