Childhood Obesity

Childhood ObesityYou already recognize that childhood obesity has become an epidemic. In fact, Obesity-related diseases account for 9.1% of total medical expenditures in the U.S.? Obesity isn’t just a vanity issue; it leads to numerous health complications and drains healthcare resources. However, it is difficult to educate parents about effective, affordable nutrition solutions, particularly if they aren’t seeking help. What if you could make a real difference through fun and engaging wellness classes that incorporate the whole family?

Dr. William Sears, along with exercise physiologist Sean Foy, have created a series of interactive, clinically proven workshops to help families embrace four pillars of health: Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude, and Nutrition. Dr. Sears’ L.E.A.N. workshops provide simple, easy-to-implement tools for making nutrition education fun and engaging. This proven approach provides participants with all the tools necessary for sustaining health and wellness. In addition, the readily-available materials are simple and easy for participants to understand.
