Solutions for Expecting and Nursing Moms
Helping both mom and baby thrive
Prenatal care is important from before conception through the weeks following delivery. During pregnancy, many women become more aware of their own bodies and the need to take care of themselves is often heightened. This awareness can lead to healthier food choices for the whole family. However women who don’t take good care of themselves and their unborn babies during pregnancy are more likely to experience complications during pregnancy and delivery and can often be avoided through better nutrition and exercise.
Both Dr. Sears, and exercise physiologist Sean Foy together have 10 children which is why they created interactive workshops to help pregnant and nursing women and their families embrace four key areas of health: Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude, and Nutrition. Dr. Sears’ L.E.A.N. workshops are simple and easy for participants to understand, from expectant and nursing moms, to parents and their children.
Dr. Sears’ L.E.A.N. Expectations Workshops Will Help You:
- Understand the link between nutrition and a healthy pregnancy
- Develop positive, lifelong habits
- Save money at the grocery store with affordable, healthy foods
- Use exercise as a tool for physical and emotional self-care
