Amanda Wade
Amanda Wade is a pediatric Physician Assistant at a large practice at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV. While working in pediatrics, Amanda has realized how important nutrition is to a growing child in so many different areas of development, which prompted her to become a Certified Dr. Sears L.E.A.N. Coach.
Since becoming a coach in October, Amanda just finished teaching her first online L.E.A.N. Start class! “Registering and teaching using the online L.E.A.N. Start course system was so easy. I had eleven people in my first class and everyone loved it!” shared Amanda. Her favorite part about teaching the course online was how easy it was to customize the course to meet the needs of her participants. She was even able to add a handout to answer questions a family had about allergies.
“I have a strong desire to meet and educate families on simple, effective ways they can live healthier, happier lives.” stated Amanda. “The online classes make it easier for me to fit it in my schedule as well as my participants busy lives.” As the coach, Amanda signed on every other day to send participants a quick message and encourage them over the three week class.
In the new year Amanda hopes to continue teaching both online and in-person classes and is looking forward to the release of Prime-Time Health as an online class she can teach as well. Other practitioners at Wheeling Hospital are very supportive of Amanda teaching L.E.A.N. workshops and online classes and are encouraging patients to sign up for them.
