Save Money and Still Eat Healthy

Before you down grade the quality of food you are feeding your family to help cut costs try these little money saving tips. Buy produce that is in season and wash and chop it your self. The precut stuff is often more expensive. Frozen berries maintain much of their nutrients, and usually cost less, and are available all year around. Pocket book friendly, healthy foods do exist. Try hard boiled eggs, canned wild salmon, black beans with yummy spices, meat loaf made with ground turkey, healthy nut butter, and large container of plain yogurt. Cooking your own food, baking your own bakery items, packing your own lunch, and JUST drinking water saves a tremendous amount of money (not necessarily time – sorry).
