The Gift That Keeps on Giving

Welcome to Mom to Mom Moments. As part of the Sears family and mother of three, I look forward to sharing with you healthy tips that help me to keep my family healthy.
As a Mom, I understand why fast food, packaged food, and frozen meals are so popular. It is difficult to find the time and energy to prepare quality, nutritious meals. But when I understand the importance of feeding my family food that is going to grow their minds and bodies into what I hope and dream, I WILL make the time. I think of all the things I teach my children throughout the day. An appetite and appreciation for whole, real, nutritious food is one of my top priorities. It is something they can use and benefit from and pass onto their families just like I received it from my mom. So, I make it my goal to cook one great nutritious meal once a day. I keep leftovers or make extra for lunch the next day. Beyond that I am able to quickly assemble things that start with a S sound: smoothies, salads, sandwiches, snacks, cereal. This system makes it doable and simple.
